The heart of this beautiful Ridgefield home designed by Iris Michaels was reimagined with clean white cabinetry and a rich blue island. By stealing space from an adjacent bathroom and moving everything off the dining room wall we were able to expand the kitchen and island, creating a better flow amongst the surrounding spaces. Once the kitchen design was laid out, Iris incorporated a small sitting area with a TV, as well as a wine/coffee bar, both with lots of storage which was one of the client’s biggest requests. To compliment the blue island cabinetry, Iris selected a neutral backsplash tile which picked up the blues beautifully, a theme which Iris carried into the nearby powder room.
