In Ridgefield, a warm wood-toned island and a separate blue-gray island sit under a vaulted ceiling and an exposed wood beam, with white perimeter cabinetry and light oak open shelving framing the room. A dramatically veined white countertop wraps the space, black hardware and fixtures carry throughout, and a wall of tall windows over the sink looks straight into the trees. The kitchen opens to a dining area finished in deep navy.
