Although this collection is by no means new (it released back in 2018 by luxury tile maker – AKDO) this porcelain tile has remained a great option for modern and country style interiors alike. Inspired by Scandinavian design, Arcadia adds a soft, organic charm to any space with its true-to-life wood grain texture and minimalistic profile.
Without a doubt this tile would look stunning in any application, but we have been using it most recently in laundry rooms.
For a room tasked with one of the more mundane chores of everyday life, designing it to be as inviting as possible is key. What better way to do that than with a jaw-dropping floor tile? Arcadia planks can be used to create a variety of patterns to add intrigue to your space, such as a modern chevron or the simple yet playful crayon, the latter of which we did on the floor in both our transitional country-style and modern beach house projects. Mix and match any of the collection’s four colors to easily elevate your design. It also has the added benefit of being porcelain, which makes it a resilient and practical choice for any floor, even those with high traffic!
In our transitional country style project pictured above, seasoned designer Mar Jennings in collaboration with KB Home designer Angela DeCarlo mixed Arcadia Grain colors Beech and Ebony to create a gentle aesthetic with contrast and texture. The perfect addition to this Fairfield County country home.
Similarly, in Karen Berkemeyer’s modern beach house destination project, we blended Arcadia Grain Beech and Oak to compliment the beautiful textured melamine cabinets and floating shelves from North American Cabinetry. Creating a soft, warm and inviting space despite its tiny footprint.
Two different projects with two different color profiles, both using Arcadia Grain to accomplish their own timeless look.
