Winner of the 2017 A-List Awards for Transitional/Modern Bath Design

A spa-like oasis with a feeling of Hawaii (where a few of her relatives live) was the homeowner’s desire for her new master bath renovation. A clean, organic and tranquil feel with a mix of textures brings warmth and comfort to the new bathroom which acts much like a spa escape from the homeowner’s hectic schedule.

Iris Michaels of Karen Berkemeyer Home, in collaboration with Spencer Cox Interiors, was able to bring this vision to life through careful choices of warm gray rough sewn oak cabinets, a rivershell tile accent wall, pure white quartz countertops and polished white marble floor. A modern two person tub is complemented by a large natural sheepskin rug bringing softness and elegance. Clean lines and satin nickel fixtures are layered with antique gold accents, vintage mirror and a banana bark chandelier to achieve the feeling of an inviting organic space.
